Yamini Muthanna is an Exponent of Bharatnatyam. She was trained under the guidance of her revered Guruji Dr. Vasundara Doraswamy. She is the Artistic Director of Kalasinchanam, Centre for learning Bharatanatyam in Bangalore.
Yaminis dance productions are unique yet classical. Her performances encompass a wide spectrum of spiritual and secular themes. Her penetrating perception of Indian Philosophy and Mythology helps her visualize dance with an interesting insight. Over the years she has developed a large repertoire of performance work. She has performed for a variety of occasions, national and International festivals, conferences, corporate functions, product launches and many such gatherings. These performances range from a full-length piece of a dance drama, to several short pieces of traditional dance compositions or a specifically choreographed lecture demonstration work, mainly highlighting the nuances of Bharathanatyam.
