Yamini was selected as a cultural ambassador, under the Cultural Exchange Programs conducted by the Indo American Cultural Exchange programme, which gave her an opportunity to conduct workshops on Bharatanatyam and yoga, along with demonstrations and performances. She was accompanied by a few selected students who also performed at these centers.

  • Yamini successfully presented a Jugalbandi of Bharatnatyam and Kathak along with noted Kathak Visharad Dr. Vaibhavi Joshipura (Student of the renowned Kathak Guru Smt. Kumudini Lakia). This was under the auspicious of the 25th Anniversary Celebrations of the Indiranagar Sangeeth Sabha.
  • Yamini's students presented a group Bharatnatyam recital for the Purandara Bhavan Dance & Music School, Anniversary Celebration.
  • Yamini presented a dance recital at BEL Kalakshethra for the Independence Day celebration on the 15th of August, under the auspices of the department of Kannada & Culture, Govt. of Karnataka.
  • Performed for a gathering of Russian delegates, a program invited by the Department of Tourism at The Taj Residency.
  • Hampi Utsav - Suvarna Mahotsava 2006. Yamini performed at the Centre stage "Krishnadevaraya Vedike" on the concluding day of the grand & prestigious utsav on 5th November, 2006, which was telecasted live on Doordharshan.
  • A fund raising recital was presented at the Kodava Samaj on the 25th November, 2006.
  • She participated at the Prestigious Bengalooru Hubba, 2006. Yamini was assigned to showcase a Jewelry collection from Tanishq (A Tata product) in the form of dance. She performed for 20 minutes every day from the 3rd to the 7th of December 2006 at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall, which won her appreciation both from the organizers, sponsors, Audience and the Press, for her creativity and style of presentation (Press reviews enclosed).
